Parkway Baptist exists to glorify God
Churchwide Prayer Meeting
Parkway Baptist will be meeting for prayer for our church body and it’s ministries on Sunday, February 5, 2012, at 4:30 pm. The purpose of this meeting will be to pray. The church will be open for at least an hour in the sanctuary where we can sit on the pews or kneel at the altars and lift up our heart’s concerns for our community and our church and it’s ministries to the Lord. This will be a come and go time so please feel free to come for a few moments or stay for the entire time.
Parkway’s Winter Quarter Business Meeting
Parkway will hold a business meeting for the winter quarter of 2012 on February 12, 2012, following the conclusion of our morning worship service. Members are encouraged to join us for this special time as we review our past year and look to the future, making decisions that will shape our church for years to come.
Adult Valentine’s Day Banquet
Parkway Baptist is having a Valentine’s Day Banquet on February 14, 2012, at 6:30 p.m. This will be an evening of food and fellowship for the adults within our church. There
will be no cost to attend the event. Please use the sign-up sheet in the church foyer if you plan to attend so that we will have an accurate count of who is coming.
Church Work Day
There has been an interest expressed in organizing and conducting one or more work days here at the church between now and Easter. Please let Brother Kelly Smothers know if you have any suggestions of things that need to be repaired, equipment that needs to be purchased or replaced. Work day(s) will be announced soon.
Worship Team Practice
Our worship team will practice this Wednesday evening. This week we will begin to look at music for our Easter Celebration. We would love to see you involved.
Calling Worship Musicians
Parkway Baptist is always looking for individuals who are seeking a church home that they can plug into and use their God given talents. Please contact the church office to set up a time to speak with the Pastor about attending Parkway and using your musical instrument talents.
